Vietnamese New Year Festival: Where to see Fireworks in Hanoi


For the Vietnam Lunar New Year 2015, there will be fireworks display to celebrate. Hanoi will hold 30 fireworks displays throughout the cities, including 5 major points.

When is Vietnamese New Year 2015?

Tet, or Vietnamese New Year will start on February 18, 2015, the lunar New Year’s Eve. The official holiday starts the weekend before, on February 15, 2015 and goes on until February 23, 2015.

On February 18, 2015, there will be fireworks displays all over Vietnam, especially in major cities to celebrate the holiday.

Where to see fireworks in Hanoi on Vietnamese Lunar New Year’s Eve

It is announced that Hanoi will have 30 fireworks displays throughout the city. 25 of these are smaller shows. The 5 spots mentioned below are the most central location and will be the most spectacular. For visitors, the first two locations below will be more likely closer to their hotels in Hoan Kiem and Tay Ho district.

Hoan Kiem Lake (Hoan Kiem District – Old Quarters)

Lac Long Quan Flower Garden (Ho Tay District – West Lake)

Thong Nhat Park (Hai Ba Trung District)

Van Quan Lake (Ha Dong District)

My Dinh Stadium (Tu Liem District)
